The CDC says this could be the WORST flu season EVER. So if you don't wash your hands well enough, you're probably going to get it.
And a new survey found that 75% of adults don't wash their hands for long enough - 75% percent! You should scrub them for at least TWENTY SECONDS.
Most people wash for five to 15 seconds . . . or in some cases, zero seconds (A good rule of thumb is to wash your hands for two renditions of the "Happy Birthday" song . . . which should take you about 20 seconds).
The survey also found only 70% of people say they ALWAYS wash their hands after they use a public bathroom. 29% say they do it sometimes . . . and 1% say they NEVER wash their hands after they use a public restroom.
