The big talk around football has been about Richard Sherman – that Settle Seahawks player who went off on a rant during a post-game interview – but now the attention is shifting to another Seahawks player.
Seattle Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman is inspiring the hearts of many as he is the first DEAF offensive player to ever play in the NFL. Last week, Duracell released a commercial about Derrick’s back story.
The plot now thickens because of a 9-year-old boy. 9-year-old Riley Kovalcik, who also has a hearing impairment wrote Coleman a letter and her father shared it on Twitter.
