For those of you have a dog, there is always that concern that they may run away—but be to “dog-napped!?”
Sadly this happened to Byrida Nelson, of Kansas City, and her dog, Molly, a Husky.
Molly was accidently stolen from Byrida’s family a year ago. Molly was picked up by another family and took care of her for the past seven months.
Animal Control happened to pick up Molly off the streets after getting loose and was able to find her rightful owners. After a year of Molly missing, her owners simply could not believe it when they got call that they found Molly.
“I thought it was a late April Fool’s joke or something, but no. We’re just glad to have her home,” Byrida said.
Molly’s original family and her temporary family plan to stay in touch through Facebook.
