So I guess the idea hit me again the other day after seeing Practical Magic for the 80th time on ABC Family for Halloween Month. I found myself wondering, "I wonder where that house is located or if it's even real". So, off I was to start my quest on Google to find the answers like I had nothing else better to do! What I actually found was a really cool website that featured pretty interesting backstories on MANY movies that you've watched over the years. So if this sounds like your kind of thing to waste time today at work....just click the house and enjoy!
NBC moved fast on this one and I have to say nicely done. According to ETOnline.com, NBC will broadcast a star-studded concert this Friday, November 2nd to raise money for victims of Hurricane Sandy. The benefit telethon -- airing live at 7pm KC time will be hosted by Matt Lauer. The money raised will be donated to the American Red Cross for the organization's ongoing relief efforts following the storm.
Among those to perform will be musicians who grew up in some of the storm's hardest hit areas -- including Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi and Billy Joel. Also set to appear during the benefit are Christina Aguilera, Sting and Jimmy Fallon. Click the peacock for more info on how you can help!
1st off, Happy Halloween. If you have kids or pets...have a blast and be safe. If you're Kelly Urich...my restraining order is pending. I love all things Halloween and found something really interesting just know about the orginal "Halloween" movie starring Jamie Lee Curtis from back in the '70's. I didn't realize the guy who played Michael only made $25 a day! Click Micheal Meyers creepy picture and find out the scary scoop!
It looks like Tom Cruise won't be pressing charges against a guy who was arrested this week for allegedly trespassing on the grounds at his Beverly Hill's home. One of Tom's security guards saw the 41 year old climb the fence and gain access to the property and that's when he decided to go ahead and Taser him and hold him until the cops showed up. One problem: It turns out the guy is his next door neighbor who was drunk at the time and went to the wrong house. Does this REALLY happen? I mean, I know some really dumb people...and I've NEVER heard of this. Do share if you've heard of it though. I'd love the laugh!
So the day has finally come where you'll have to pay to "read the paper" online. Fox 4 announced on their website that The Kansas City Star's website will now be available to you starting December 5th...at a price. So I'm curious, will you be paying for to read it? Click the paper to read the entire article...for free of course!

I have to be honest. I've called in a number of different ways to get out of going to work. One time I called in "miserable" because I worked with a crazy person. Then there was another time that I had to actually call in because my legs were numb and I couldn't walk because I let a "little person" sit on my lap for about 45 minutes (and didn't realize how heavy they were). What's been your "best/worst? excuse to get out of work? Click the "office" up top to read the full article and see some of the hilarious excuses people gave!

I have to be honest, I don't have a tattoo. But I do not have a single issue with anyone else having them or wanting to get them. I've just never been able to come up with something that I'll want on me when I'm 90. Oh that, and I hate needles. But I know this story has many a parent talking and I thought I'd throw it out there to you. You can click the picture for the full story from ABC News. My question: When did you get permission to get a tattoo? Or sneak to get one? Or will you let your kids get one? I'm curious on your thoughts. I guess the one piece of good news is that she didn't decide to go with the teardrop prison option. --Nycki
Well, it's not even set to air until January of 2013 but the compitition looks and sounds like it's already started between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey on American Idol. The two got into a war of words if you will yesterday in North Carolina and it stopped all production of the audtions. The one I really feel sorry for is Keith Urban who's stuck in the middle of this steamy mess just waitin' for wigs to go flyin'!! You can decide on this one and tell me if we're judging Boxing, Singing or Egos on Idol
I had a chance to catch up with the ALWAYS hilarious and spunky Richard Simmons who will be in town THIS Thursday, Oct. 4th with North Kansas City Hospital's "Move Into Fall" event. Click here to listen to what Richard had to say this time....He's a hoot!

You have to give this kid credit. He does have guts! A 12-year old fan by the name of Chase was in the crowd holding up a sign during a Carrie Underwood concert in Kentucky this week asking her to be his first kiss. But some are asking if this comes off cute or creepy...Click for yourself and watch the video to judge: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20633046,00.html
