11-Year-Old Finds Out About 9/11...Donates His Life Savings To Local Police Depa

On Friday, an 11-year-old walked into his local police station in Greenfield, Wisconsin, told the clerk he wanted to make a donation...and left $10.03 in CHANGE on the counter.  Then he left without even telling them his name.

So police posted surveillance video of it on Facebook and managed to track him down.  His name is Max Siepert, and he'd been saving up money since April, but decided the local police needed it more than he did....

That's because last week, Max learned about 9/11 in his sixth grade social studies class, and his teacher talked about all the cops and firefighters who died.  So without telling his parents, Max got on his bike, rode to the station, and gave them EVERY penny he had!

Max was interviewed by the local news earlier this week, and said, quote, "One day [that money] is going to make a difference.  It might not be a really big difference, but at least it's something."

Adding that if we all had that same attitude, quote, "we would have such a great world."
