I have lived in Colorado since 1994, I would like to say that makes me a native but it doesn't. I am originally from San Diego, California , and I moved here because I felt it would be the best place to raise my children. I have 2 wonderful boys and I love being a Mom. When I am not having a blast on the air, I am first and foremost a Mom, running kids day and night to where they need to be next. When I have time for myself, I am an avid volleyball player (you could say its my "passion"), I also love golf, snowboarding, and any sports with my kids (I'm a self-proclaimed, mature "Tom-boy").

I moved to Durango from Seattle and have been with the Point since September of 2007. I’ve also lived in Alaska, Oklahoma and (don’t hold it against me) Texas. I went to school for mountain living and broadcast journalism in Missoula, Montana where I also produced television news for a CBS affiliate. After two years of breaking news of bears up trees and waterskiing squirrels, I moved to the bright lights and big city of Seattle and freelanced as a television news writer, print reporter…and bartender. Since moving to Durango I’ve gotten back on skis for the first time in ten years, learned to appreciate the quirkiness of the town, and I think I’m fitting right in! I’m a self-proclaimed television enthusiast and enjoyer of all delicious food. I’m loving the Durango sunshine and am excited to be a part of the Point!
