Nycki Pace

As the saying goes, “you can take the girl out of Independence…but…”

Nycki Pace is a native KC’er who attended Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School & St. Pius X all 13 years.  (Yes, kindergarten counts too.  She made a few trips to confession back in the day.)  She worked her way through high school with numerous jobs as a cake decorator, Chuck ‘E Cheese employee (don’t get her started on kids getting lost in the ball pit), and with her family’s auto body business in the northland.

After graduating, she somehow talked her way into scoring a producer job at the old “61 Country,” and she’s been talking her way into more crazy antics ever since.  (It sure beat pounding the dents out of Chevy Caprice Classics, after all!)  Radio hosting, TV hosting on the original “Kansas City Live,” Chiefs pregame hosting – you name it – Nycki’s tried it, and lived to tell about it too!

Nycki has been married to her husband Mike for 15 years and lives in Olathe with their “son” Niles, who may or may not have been banned from the 99.7 The Point studios after leaving a “present” in the Program Director’s office.  Nevertheless, she loves her ornery child.

In her free time, you might find Nycki catching up on a Criminal Minds marathon, trying out a new patio (she’s made the phrase at 3:58 in her personal mantra), or soaking up some vitamin D out and about in the yard after she’s done on the air.
